New hardwood, carefully fitted
Hardwood floor installation
Add lasting natural wood with thoughtful layout, tight transitions, and preparation that supports a stable finished floor.
What to expect
A recommendation based on the floor in front of us.
A strong installation plan considers the subfloor, moisture, room direction, adjoining surfaces, vents, thresholds, and how the new floor should connect to existing wood.
Peter provides free estimates and completes the work with a focus on preparation, honest communication, and details that hold up after the room is put back together.

Common questions
Before you decide
Every floor is different. These answers are a useful starting point; an in-person look determines the final recommendation.
Can new hardwood match an existing floor?
Often it can be coordinated closely. Species, width, grade, age, and color all matter, so Peter will examine the existing floor before suggesting material.
Do you supply the hardwood?
Peter can recommend a trusted hardwood supplier and help you choose appropriate material for the project.
Can hardwood replace carpet?
Yes. After the carpet is removed, the subfloor and height transitions need to be inspected before a final installation plan is confirmed.
